Fall of 2008 brought us Downtown to show our support for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night event. We helped raise money and got to enjoy a beautiful night in Atlanta. Kirschner & Associates also partnered with United Way to help with their School Tools for Cook Kids project. We made donations of school supplies and then helped separate, count, and distribute the items at the warehouse.
In the Spring of 2009 Kirschner & Associates teamed up with a retirement community and, along with the tenants, painted a beautiful mural to put in their building. On our second day we helped our local MUST Ministries with the sorting and storage of food and hygiene supplies. Our volunteers also helped make sandwiches for the children that MUST Ministries reaches out to. For the remainder of our community service week Kirschner & Associates helped out in the City of Smyrna with Habitat for Humanity. We did the framing and insulation wrapping for a new home and got it ready to have the roof put on. After completion of the home in September, Kirschner & Associates got to attend the dedication ceremony and meet the new homeowner.
